Black Trackpants in a Barrel Fit

Most track pants taper straight from hip to ankle. These do something else entirely.

The barrel fit applies the same silhouette logic to track pants that it does to jeans — wide through the thigh, tapering below the knee — creating a bottom with volume and taper rather than a single narrowing line. Structured cotton in black holds that shape, which is the part a softer fabric would give up immediately. An elasticated waistband keeps the construction comfortable.

The result is a contemporary shape most track pant constructions do not attempt, and it uses that shape without apology. Keep the top half fitted so the volume is legible, and wear low footwear so the taper finishes cleanly. Black makes the whole thing wearable in places a track pant would not usually go.
